My mother looks the same as she did when she gave birth to me some 32 years ago. Olive complexion, perfect skin, deep-set almond eyes, perfectly straight white teeth. She has an hourglass figure even after 5 children and despite being only 52, she has legs that go up to wherever. Her weight has fluctuated slightly, but shes never been even close to overweight. Shes 48. And she turns more heads than I do. I should say that with pride, but I have to admit Im a little jealous after having been in her shadow all these years.

I unluckily managed to inherit my fathers skin, allergic to the sun, eczema in winter. Acne sprouted like polka-dot colonies all over my face from grade school until well after college, although it may or may not have been that bad towards the end. It left its mark on my face, however, mainly by it being a little scuffed, but exhibiting its survival with modest pride. I actually went through it all over again during the first few months of my pregnancies! Yuck!

Any acne survivor has probably taken great care with preserving their face. Only certain products can be used, or else, attack of the killer pimples! We also keep our skin hydrated properly without going overboard, because a wrong step in either direction could be fatal. My secret to balancing the ph of your skin and clearing up breakouts fast was learned too late but I swear by it. Any time you get a breakout, use water with a little apple cider vinegar as a toner. This is so cheap and it works for everybody regardless. If you have a teenager at home going through what I went through, try this on him/her right before their bedtime. It really does work.

I thought after what I had to endure with acne, I deserved at least a 10-15 year break before being victimized again by a new predator: wrinkles. I was wrong, because I dont remember many smooth days in-between. After having my two kids, I was sleeping a lot less and started to notice I looked more tired than usual all the time. Smile lines were developing and ironically enough, made me look like I was scowling! And a line split my forehead reminiscent of, well, my backside. And Im thinking, this cant be happening to me. Im getting wrinkles before my mother will. How cruel life is.

That was about 4 years ago. I have spent so many hours scouting the internet for a miracle cure, home or store-bought. I bought a dermabrasion cloth, though it helped slightly it was not enough that anyone besides myself would notice the difference. For crying out loud, the thing claimed to have the ability to remove tattoos! I expected it could take at least the top layer off my sagging skin. I bought an electrical device that was supposed to make my face firmer. Either it didnt work or I wasnt using it properly. Every time a new method failed, I reminded myself I was one step closer to something that actually worked. I am a tough cookie and I never give up. What did I have to lose, anyway? I probably have at least 50 good years left in me, if not more, and I want to spend them looking drop-dead gorgeous!

I started taking Omega-3 fatty acids. I cant say for sure if they worked, but my joint pain went away and I did notice my mood was elevated. Maybe my skin felt a little softer, just maybe.

Alpha hydroxy acids proved to be one of my greatest helpers. I bought Vaseline Intensive Care lotion with AHA (alpha hydroxy acids)that I used both on my body and face. It really did help, although its very strong and definitely not for sensitive skin.

But the real keeper I havent even gotten around to revealing yet. It not only got rid of ALL my wrinkles, it also got rid of my stretch marks. I knew I had a bonus coming somewhere. Its so good, it even has a money-back guarantee. For my secret, click on the link below:br

Skin conditions such as wrinkles, dry skin, acne, psoriasis, and inflammation are all a reflection of poor internal health. Bad lifestyle, horrible dietary patterns, toxic skin care products, and a lack of healthy skin nutrients are all responsible for skin that is less than perfect.

If you want to maintain healthy looking skin, it is important to understand those things that can effectively damage your skin. Below, you will find a list of things that should be avoided if you wish to have healthy and beautiful skin.

Overexposure to the Sun
This one might seem like a no-brainer, but far too many people neglect to use sunscreen daily. Sunlight consists of UV rays, which can inflict serious damage on your skin. UV rays can lead to sunburn, which greatly increase the risk of skin cancer, wrinkles, freckled skin, premature aging, and many other skin conditions.

Improper Diet
Have you ever heard the expression “you are what you eat?” Well, this is especially true when it comes to your skin. The state of our skin is a direct reflection of what we put in our body. It’s imperative to adhere to dietary patterns that provide proper nutrition for the body and skin while staying away from those that don’t. It is also suggested that you stick to a diet rich in fruits and vegetables, which improves the antioxidant levels in the body helping to fight free radicals.

Dehydration
Dehydration will leave your skin feeling and looking dry. You should drink plenty of water to retain and maintain the suppleness of your skin. Most the skin tissues, collagen, and other proteins hold up best when they are properly moisturized.

Smoking
Smoking is one of your skin’s worst enemies. It deprives the skin tissues of oxygen and leaves the skin with a grey complexion. Smoking also leaves lines around mouth and eyes. If you want to maintain great-looking skin, simply don’t smoke.

Alcohol
As with smoking, excessive alcohol consumption dilates the blood vessels and results in prominent red veins.

Stress
There are two kinds of stress. Both are equally harmful as far as skin health and beauty is concerned. Environmental stress results in UV radiation and pollution, which leaves our bodies susceptible to free radicals. Free radicals are responsible for wrinkles, premature aging, etc brought about by lack of collagen and death of skin cells.

Emotional Stress also expresses itself on the skin. Emotional stress also deprives skin of crucial oxygen and nutrients and may aggravate any skin like acne. If you happen to have a lot of stress in your life, try and find some way to alleviate this tension.

Avoiding any kind of toxic skin care treatment is the best course of action against the aging process. Likewise, staying away from the harmful things mentioned above is a wise idea. There are many poor habits, bad environmental conditions, and general dietary habits that can cause bad skin. If you want to keep your skin in top shape, make sure to pay attention to those things that you do every single day.
