Colloidal Silver For The Skin

Colloidal silver for the skin is probably one of the fastest growing arrays of colloidal silver products. There are many uses of colloidal silver for the skin, and several reasons you might consider using it.

Among reasons for using colloidal silver for the skin are:

1. Affordability. Colloidal silver for the skin can be inexpensive; you can even make your own colloidal silver solution at home by means of a circuit that will leech silver from a pure silver wire into pure water. Hygiene is vital, of course, but home brewing of colloidal silver for the skin can be practiced with discretion.

2. Effectiveness. Colloidal silver for the skin is believed to be very effective. Colloidal silver is well established as a bacteria killer, and colloidal silver as an antibiotic is extremely well received, though sometimes controversial. While common over the counter (OTC) antibiotic prescriptions can help treat skin problems, they can also kill off beneficial bacteria. Colloidal silver is believed to be friendly to beneficial bacteria while killing those that cause skin problems.

3. Simplicity. Colloidal silver for the skin does not have to be ingested. It can be applied topically – to the surface of the skin. Colloidal silver can be an effective bacteria killer, eliminating the cause of skin eruptions.

Colloidal silver for the skin is very promising. You probably know there is a wide array of products for the skin, but many of them can be costly. Some may even be dangerous. Colloidal silver is safe when used sparingly, but be sure you buy true colloidal silver for the treatment of acne.

Among uses of colloidal silver for the skin are:

1. Face cream. Colloidal silver face cream promotes beautiful skin by repairing damage and preventing infections.

2. Acne treatment. Colloidal silver is an inexpensive, easily-applied, and effective treatment for acne.

3. Treatment for scars and stretch marks. Colloidal silver eases away scars and stretch marks, promoting clear, unblemished skin.

4. Treatment for cuts and abrasions. Colloidal silver kills infections before they have opportunity to start.

5. Treatment for poison ivy, etc. Many have used colloidal silver to clear up bad cases of poison ivy, poison oak, or poison sumach.

6. Treating insect bites. Colloidal silver attacks potential infection, killing the bacteria connected with it.

7. Underarm deodorant. Since underarm odor is caused by bacteria, it is believed colloidal silver prevents odor as it kills bacteria.

Colloidal silver for the skin has been lauded as a solution for many different skin problems. It seems to work for all, healing by killing off bacteria.

Colloidal silver for the skin works as does internal dosages of colloidal silver. Pathogens and other microorganisms on the skin that come in contact with the colloidal silver suffocate from lack of oxygen. The colloidal silver dissolves the oxygen metabolizing enzyme found in most primitive organisms, a process similar to an electrochemical reaction. This unusual property makes colloidal silver able to perform successfully where other antibiotics cannot. Bacteria and the other microorganisms on the skin need oxygen to live, grow, and reproduce. Deprive them of oxygen with colloidal silver and they die.

Hints:

- Be sure you buy only true colloidal silver. True colloidal silver contains the proper size particle and a safe parts-per-million ratio. True colloidal silver has been effective against many bacterial issues.

- Use colloidal silver for the skin sparingly. More is not necessarily better. Some products have too high a parts-per-million ration. Others have silver particles that are too large. Either can lead to potential trouble.

Caution: A potential undesirable side effect of colloidal silver for the skin is Argyria. In Argyria, silver is deposited in the body in too great an amount. The deposited silver reacts with the sun through a process similar to that of the development of a photographic negative, turning the skin a bluish-gray color. This is most likely to occur if your product is not true colloidal silver./pbr

Young bright derma is a simple admiration that has able too abounding of us.

Even if were young, in our adolescence and 20s, pimples and advancing derma blemishes are far too common. Not abundant afterwards in life, we activate to get anxious about curve in our faces and about our eyes.

This doesnt accept to happen. Better derma diet can do a lot to accord you adolescent bright derma for decades.

Ill acknowledgment three means you can advance your derma alpha today.

– 1. Better food. For decades, dermatologists accept been cogent adolescent humans that their diet had annihilation to do with acne. They were (and abounding still are) abounding of baloney!

Mountains of affirmation abide to appearance that diet is axial to abscess problems.

For starters, abscess is a botheration of avant-garde civilization. For the Inuit (Eskimos) of Alaska and arctic Canada, abscess was about exceptional of for centuries. Again in the 1950s and 60s, abounding of the Inuit acclimatized in and about white towns, adopted civilized aliment and and in a individual bearing a majority of their adolescent humans developed acne, generally severe.

The aforementioned is accurate of the few actual hunter-gather tribes in limited areas. In association afterwards association advised through the 20th aeon and till today, abscess is acutely attenuate unless the association begins to accept our avant-garde food, again their accouchement al of a sudden advance a face abounding of pimples and blemishes.

(Everything Ive said about abscess applies to obesity, diabetes and affection ache as well. Nearly alien a part of limited Inuit and added hunter-gatherer tribes, acutely accepted if they get civilized.)

The a lot of acceptable culprits are too abounding carbohydrates (sugar and starches), milk and dairy products, and not abundant fiber. If a pizza, or a hamburger and fries, both done down with a soda, are archetypal commons for you, and you accept abscess problems, accede a few changes.

Try to add cilia to your diet in as abounding means as possible. Specifically, eat a brace added salads a anniversary to start, using abysmal blooming and acutely black vegetables as abundant as possible. Spinach leaves, romaine and added abysmal blooming lettuce, broccoli, green, red, orange and chicken peppers, tomatoes, carrots, are all abundant examples. Acutely black berries like raspberries (packed with fiber), blueberries and strawberries, too.

– 2. Supplements: Try an accomplished vitamin/mineral supplement for added antioxidants. And accede a brace of high-quality angle oil capsules a day.

If you accept acne, for example, abstain annihilation with mineral oil (also alleged petrolatum or petroleum jelly). That will yield some accurate characterization reading, because its bargain and actual broadly used! But it blocks the pores, auspicious pimples, and over time in fact dries out your skin.

Fungal Defense Against Candida

December 30th, 2009

br
Candida is a term that is commonly used for the medical condition known as candidiasis; or yeast overgrowth. The condition was first identified during the 1970s by American doctors and is now believed to effect more than 40 million Americans. While it should be noted that moderate amounts of candida and other types of yeast exist in all individuals without any problems, in some situations yeast begins to grow uncontrollably. When this occurs it can ravage the body and create a number of symptoms.

In some of the symptoms related to candida there is damage to the intestinal wall. This allows toxins to escape into the bloodstream and cause problems such as migraines, muscle aches, food allergies and difficulty in concentration.

Other individuals who suffer from candida experience what is known as thrush; although not everyone who has candida will have problems with thrush. In some situations, candida will cause problems associated with the endocrine system; which will then lead to even more health problems. These problems may typically include joint pains, PMS, asthma, sinus problems, hay fever, irregularities related to a womans menstrual cycle, fungal infections, ear infections, weight gain/weigh loss, allergies and/or a sensitivity to perfumes, tobacco smoke and chronic tiredness. Finally, some individuals experiencing problems related to candida may experience diarrhea and/or constipation, flatulence or a bloated feeling. In very rare cases, candida has even been known to cause problems associated with endometriosis and other illnesses and diseases.

In total, candida has been known to cause 100 or more varied symptoms. It is not uncommon for an individual to suffer from 20 or more symptoms associated with candida at the same time. Symptoms related to candida have been noted to become worse when the individual is exposed to humidity or hot weather. Stressful conditions have also been shown to make candida worse.

In addition to the symptoms listed above, candida has also been noted to cause other health issues such as rectal and/or vaginal itching and pain, colic, diaper rash, acne, hives, kidney and bladder infections, flu like symptoms, spotted vision, impotence, lack of sexual desire, psoriasis, eczema, heartburn, indigestion, bad breath, sore throat, hemorrhoids, dry mouth, cough, painful intercourse and loss of hair.

One of the most common causes of problems associated with candida is the usage of antibiotics. In situations where the bodys immune system has already been compromised due to hormonal changes, stress or illness antibiotics are believed to further contribute to a situation in which candida may flourish. The use of birth control pills has also been shown to be associated with the development of candida.

In many cases, individuals live with the effects and symptoms of candida for years because portions of the health community have been reluctant to admit the link between antibiotics and the development of candida or even that a problem exists in some cases.

Fungal Defense delivers the most effective anti-yeast and anti-fungal compounds found in nature. It contains a specific anti-candida formula to help you battle the effects of this debilitating health issue. In addition, it helps to restore health intestinal flora and enhance immune functions.br

Promote Healthy Skin by Using Olive Oil

December 30th, 2009

br
Many of you are going to cringe at the thought of applying olive oil directly to your face. After all, if oil is what clogs pores and causes acne then why would anybody want to slather the stuff on their face and how could it possible help rejuvenate our skin? Well, the simple truth of the matter is that olive oil can be used as a remedy for many different parts of our bodies, not just the face. And while choosing the right cosmetics and makeup tools can benefit anyone, the old adage that less is more applies to makeup. The less that you can get away with putting on, the better.

Olive oil can soften dry skin, alleviate chapped lips and actually combat acne and blackheads. Blackheads are caused by dirt and oil getting trapped in our pores and hardening. Theyre unflattering, especially if you have a ton of them, but olive oil can drastically reduce their numbers. When you leave the oil on your skin, it softens the dirt thats trapped inside your pores. This may not get rid of blackheads immediately but will provide a serious benefit in the ongoing struggle against them. Extra virgin olive oil works best and the best part is that its a natural remedy. You wont damage your skin by leaving olive oil on your face like you will by using pore strips.

If youre looking for a cheap and effective mask, create a moisturizing facial by combining olive oil, honey and an egg yolk. Beat them together until they are well blended and apply the mask to your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes and then wash it off with warm water. Your skin will feel soft and hydrated. Warm water is important because it opens your pores, letting the bad stuff drain out of them easier. Splash some cold water on your face when youre done to minimize your pores.

Combining Castor oil with olive oil is also a good option for your skin. Depending on your skin type, you will need to use more or less Castor oil accordingly. For people with oily skin, try a blend of 30% castor oil to 70% olive. Balanced skin can get away with 20% Castor and 80% olive; for dry skin, be careful when exceeding 10% Castor oil. Evidently, Castor oil dries out your skin; however, it is much more effective in cleaning and purging oil from your pores. I have combination skin so I use the simple formula of four tablespoons of olive oil for every single tablespoon of Castor oil. You may choose to keep a mixture for convenient use. If you are storing your combination in a jar or bottle, be sure to keep the container washed so that you dont introduce any bacteria.

This is a great combination that I use on a regular basis. You can buy olive oil from the grocery store and castor oil from most department stores. Use it on a regular basis, although dont overdo it. When your skin becomes dry then youll know that youre using it too much. If you wear makeup then I would strongly recommend investing in this treatment. You wont achieve perfect skin overnight, though you may be surprised to notice a huge impact that one deep cleansing massage has on your skin.

What Does Fish Oil Do and How to Harness Its Power Effectively

December 30th, 2009

Author: Rich Hawkinsbr
Source: ezinearticles.combr
br
What does fish oil do is one of the most frequently asked questions I get! I think this shows that despite being the most popular supplement, many people are still confused about the health benefits. Essentially it is the omega-3 fatty acids, primarily DHA and EPA that are responsible for the health benefits. These play a key role in a range of body process from blood pressure to inflammation and immunity.

What does fish oil do for the heart? It basically protects the heart from disease, helping to prevent heart attacks and strokes. Thousands of lives are saved each year because people simply take an omega-3 supplement every day! It also helps to reduce triglycerides, which are blood fats related to cholesterol, lowering bad cholesterol levels and blood pressure too.

It is also well-known for its anti-inflammatory properties and people suffering from arthritis can gain considerable relief when taking fish oil capsules. Treatment of skin disorders like acne and psoriasis are also proven to be successful and recent research from the University of California show us that it may help in the fight against breast cancer.

What does fish oil do for the brain?

Brain health is a major area of study just now and with the human brain being composed of around 60% fats, half of which is DHA omega-3, you can see why! It helps to keep the brain healthy and functioning correctly and may influence the symptoms of diseases like Alzheimers in a very positive manner. It is also thought to be good for treating schizophrenia and general mental health issues. The list seems to be endless and it is no wonder that these supplements are the most widely taken and effective of all.

To get all these benefits make sure you choose carefully. Purity is key: fish from Alaska and New Zealand come from the cleanest waters, and make sure it is pharmaceutical grade or molecularly distilled to remove the many toxins like mercury and other heavy metals that fish carry in their flesh.

Next check the relative DHA and EPA levels, ensuring that the DHA level is the highest as this is now proven to be the most effective. If you cant see the levels clearly, you should avoid the product altogether.

In closing I hope I have answered the question of what does fish oil do and that you can see the amazing benefits to be had by including it in your daily diet.

Whats in the bottle?

December 29th, 2009

Author: Alayna A Friesbr
Source: articleage.combr
br
Do you ever think about what is really in that pretty bottle you
purchase at the beauty counter? What ingredients make up your
skin care products?

I want to share with you about what some manufacturers are doing
to the skin care products. You may think your skin care products
are the best for your skin, but for the most part are bad and
they are doing little good for your skin. When you buy your
products to use in the comfort of your home, you may find that
you cant even pronounce the weird names on the label. You may
have no idea what they are and probably never heard of them in
your entire life. You believe it is okay to use these products
because you may have been told that the product is great for you
skin. You may have been told it will make you have flawless and
fabulous skin and it will make all your skin symptoms disappear.

But then when I found out what was in them, WHOA!!! By my very
own experience, I was shocked to discover the information I
found about the ingredients I was putting on my skin everyday.

Do you know that most of the skin care products on the market
today are full of crap?

I am sure what you discover will shock you as well. I personally
found a huge company, claiming their product was Dermatologist
recommended and that it wont clog pores. Then I turn it over to
read the ingredients, and found that it contains sodium
tallowate, otherwise known as animal fats. Animal fats are known
to clog pores and cause acne.

The Skin Care Industry has conducted surveys concerning natural
products. These surveys proved that customers prefer all natural
products on the market. There has been a heavy increase of
natural products on the market, which is good, but what bothers
me about this is many of these products are far from being
natural. They may contain some natural ingredients or essential
oils, but they still contain many harmful toxins and chemicals
such as parabens, sulfates, and urea. This can be very
misleading to you when you are out shopping for the best product
for yourself. Let me suggest you dont allow these skin care
products to go on your skin let alone in your body! You
understand that these products do get absorbed into your body
through your skin, dont you?

Many skin care products on the shelves are loaded with toxic,
harmful, synthetic ingredients and they are very damaging to the
skin, let alone your health.

Here are some others you have to watch out for…

EDTA (Ethylenediamine Tetraacetic Acid) is a preservative found
in skin care products. Its primary use as I understand is to
keep the product from experiencing changes in color and keeping
the product in tact. Which in and of itself does not sound like
a really bad thing, my problem with this acid is it can cause
redness of the skin as well as enable other toxic chemicals to
enter more freely into the bloodstream. Other known hazards of
this ingredient are that it prevents the regeneration of the new
skin cells.

Gycerin is a fake moisturizer that is derived from propylene
alcohol. It is in products claiming that they will hydrate the
skin, but it actually does the opposite. It steals moisture from
the inside of the body, so it will make it look like it
moisturizes and hydrates, but it really isnt moisturizing the
skin. Look for Vegetable Glycerin, this is an emollient
naturally extracted from vegetable oils.

Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA) This is another one of those acids
that scare me. I say this because of the skin damage that may
result from long term use for exfoliation purposes. Continued
use for exfoliation, can break down the skins protective
barriers. I say this because I understand it takes more than
just dead skin cells off while exfoliating. In my opinion, if
you feel you need to use alpha hydroxy acids, do so at your own
risk.

Petrolatum this is an ingredient that can actually interfere
with the bodys own moisturizing mechanism and can lead to dry
skin and cracking. This ingredient is found in moisturizers and
lip balms to protect them from chapping and sunburn. The skin
can become sensitive to the sun if you use petroleum based
products. Think about it like this, what happens when you put
french fries in a fryer full of oil, they cook. Do you want to
cook your skin? If so, pile on the oil and take a walk in the
sun.

The manufacturers say that by using these petroleum based
products you can achieve amazing, moist skin, and the dryness
will go away. What you may find is that by using these products,
your skin tends to become drier than when you began using the
product and your symptoms may worsen. Your skin may have been
simply over exposed to the ingredient. It also promotes acne and
slows down normal cell development.

All of these synthetic ingredients I have discussed to this
point are found in most skin care products, so you may want to
look at your very own skin care products, and see if you
recognize any of those ingredients I mentioned, so you can see
what I am talking about. I really want to help you achieve
amazing skin, so here are some tips on how to read labels of
your products. If you dont want to believe me or you feel as if
this is not the case, then you can research the chemicals in
your very own products and see for yourself. Always do your
homework. Investigate and research the ingredients listed on the
labels of your products. We have the Internet today that has
tons of information and knowledge on everything. The internet
makes it much easier to do your research on an ingredient in
your skin care product. See, you have the answers right at your
fingertips, you just have to do the research so you can protect
yourself. You can get quick, fast answers that reveal the truth
about the products you are purchasing to care for your skin. I
see and hear advertisements all the time for skin care products
and they claim their product will give you healthy looking skin.

Essential Fatty Acids Sources and Benefits

December 29th, 2009

Author: Chester Ku-Leabr
Source: articleage.combr
br
Why should I increase my Omega fatty acid intake?
Our intake of essential fatty acids has changed radically in the last century. Our ratio of Omega-6 to Omega-3 should be close to 1:1, but it is now over 10:1 and up to 20:1. This is due to the addition of corn, sunflower, safflower, sesame and other Omega-6 oils to our food supply. Such excesses are thought by many scientists to be a factor in a number of chronic medical conditions including arthritis, cardiovascular disease, asthma, acne, obesity and depression. It is clear that we need to increase our intake of Omega-3 fatty acids and decrease our intake of Omega-6 (linoleic acid) oils. By doing so we will be, look and feel healthier.
What are good fats and bad fats?
Fat is a concentrated source of energy. This source of energy is very useful during aerobic exercise. The longer the exercise, the higher the fat contribution for providing energy. Fat is particularly used in large quantities in the brain and nervous system. There are two types of fat: saturated and unsaturated. Unsaturated fats are commonly referred to as good fats, and should make up the greatest percentage of your fat intake.
UNSATURATED
• Unsaturated fats, good fats are liquid at room temperature, and remain in liquid form even when refrigerated or frozen.
• Good fats are part of the essential fats: omega 3 and omega 6, both of which are unsaturated fats.
What are EPA and DHA?
These are two specific essential fatty acids found in fish oil. Both Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA) and Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) have been well documented in regulating cellular functions and promoting good health. Diets deficient in EPA and DHA have been associated with a number of health problems, most notably cardiovascular disease.
What is GLA and how is it different from other Omega-6 sources?
GLA (Gamma Linolenic Acid) is an Omega-6 fatty acid found in high amounts in borage oil, and to a lesser degree in black currant and evening primrose oils. In contrast to the sunflower, safflower and other Omega-6 oils, the presence of GLA in borage oil results in very different physiological effects. Linoleic acid in its current dietary excess promotes inflammation due to the production of arachidonic acid (AA). GLA on the other hand, actually interferes with the production of AA and decreases inflammation. GLA has been used with success in treating various medical conditions, most notably rheumatoid arthritis and eczema. Emerging science also indicates that GLA has synergistic activities with the Omega-3 marine-derived DHA and EPA, particularly in cardiovascular health and fat metabolism.
We all want to be healthy, happy and fit with enough energy for work and for play. A well-balanced diet, exercise, and enough rest go a long way in helping us get the most out of life. And essential fatty acids (EFAs) have been proven to help us achieve healthier and happier lives. These good fats truly are essential and the majority of us are not consuming enough of the well-researched Omega fats. Now getting the right amount of Omegas to suit your specific health needs is easier than ever.
Where do essential fats come from?
Sources of Omega 3 and Omega 6 essential fats:
• Cold Water fish such as Salmon (coho, king and pink), sardines, cod, albacore tuna, trout, halibut , herring. (these fish are also a great source of Omega 6, but are predominantly richer in Omega 3)
• Flaxseeds and green leafy vegetables are great sources of Omega 3.
• Sesame and sunflower seeds and other seeds and nuts are great sources of Omega 6.
• Borage oil and evening primrose oil are rich sources of GLA which is part of the Omega 6 essential fats.
Where do saturated fats come from?
Saturated fats contain large amounts of saturated fatty acids. Saturated fatty acids are named so, because they are saturated with hydrogen, meaning they have only single bonds between carbon atoms, leaving no room in their chemical structure for additional hydrogen atoms. Saturated fats are typically solid at room temperature.
Varieties of Saturated fat include: Butter, coconut and palm oils and lard.
Benefits
• aid in balancing the autoimmune system
• treats skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis
• cardiovascular healthbr

The Day I Met You, An Interracial Love Story (Part 1)

December 29th, 2009

Author: Tameka Norrisbr
Source: downloadbr
br
Life makes me want to tell my story. But its almost frightening to tell my story since Ive been used to keeping it to myself for so long.
I guess the only reason you really tell a story like this is because it can do some good.
For you and for others.
Love is about risks. Life is about risks. And sometimes youve just gotta take a few…
Michael and I spent nearly four years talking to one another online before we met. And out of those four years we spent three of them in love.
And now four years later and three months after weve met things are different and still much the same. We spend almost every single weekend talking to one another online.
Ours is a story of love that faces obstacles. A story of interracial love. A story of age differences. A story of acceptance. A story of belief differences. And a story of love seperated by two countries.
I fell in love with him online, before we ever met. But how couldnt I?
He was Michael.
I think the definition of true love really becomes clear when love presents more obstacles than it does convenience.
When all there seems to be is one obstacle after another, proving to you that you have absolutely no control over the result of the love between you and someone else.
And the only thing that you can do is give into it and truly love no matter what.
This is my story. This is my life.
From the day I met Michael to before there was us…
I had never went out with anyone. No one I could claim was mine or offer myself as a claim to.
The only person that had ever occupied my time besides Michael was John. An eight year crush that I swore, at the time, was love. From the moment I saw him when I was ten years old up until I turned eighteen.
It was love at first sight. No one could tell me there wasnt wedding bells in my future. I swore I even heard them the moment I laid eyes on John. I was absolutely sure that he would marry me someday. And that I would be Mrs. Alderman.
After that I collected every moment that I could to support my feelings. What we had in common. His birthday. His hobbies. Where he lived. Anything and everything. It didnt matter. After all I loved him…
…so I thought.
Now I know differently. I justify the feelings now by saying that what I felt for John was my only comprehension of what love was at the time but not the true definition of love in its purest form.
It was a form of love. But not even close to what love truly is.
Looking back now. He was nothing other than a elaborated infatuation that was mainly built on dreams. I never really knew him at all.
And except for a few brief run-ins we barely even spoke. I mean what was I expecting? A miracle.
No one ever looked at a fat black girl with bad hair and acne.
I barely even looked at myself. I mean, for heaven sakes I didnt need any reminding that I wasnt qualified for the position.
A girls gotta dream right?
Once I initially came to my senses… eight years and an unanswered love letter later I realized that hell would freeze over and the fat lady would have to sing before John ever loved me. And alas, I forced myself to finally move on. Mind you it wasnt easy.
A geek only has dreams and when those are shattered. It presents a problem…
…the fact that fairy tales dont exist. At least not for girls like me anyway.
So I sucked it up and chugged along. Miserable for many reasons beyond that. A broken family. No friends, a sense of hopelessness with no reason to live. All Id known was misery… all I felt was miserable.
Suicide seemed like the answer. And for a brief time I thought it was. I even tried to end it all with a bottle of pills.
But I suppose if you really want to kill yourself you dont try to end it the easy way.
You make sure that if youre going to end it… theres no going back.
But a failed attempt at suicide hadnt changed my perspective although in some morose aspect I was glad I was still alive.
Just not happy to be alive. If that makes sense.
All of the in between seemed to be a black cloud when I look back. Nothing seemed to satisfy me.
There was this big whole in my heart and I was terribly lonely. I had moved and I was no longer talking to my best friend.
So I had no friends at all. I had graduated high school several years prior and had no idea how to improve my life.
My mother and I were living together and my sister had moved off to Los Angeles.
The loneliness was weighing in on me. So I prayed that God would send me a friend and then I hopped online and came across a website and emailed several people.
I got a couple of responses back. Lol… I still remember one in particular. One guy told me he preferred to talk with someone a little younger.
I guess he was a little too young when I think about it. Twenty-three was suddenly old for an 18 year old.
After him a few came and a few went within the span of several days, and then a week later once I had given up on meeting anyone worthy on the net, I got a letter.

Your body can heal itself from sickness and disease if you give it a chance to do so. Most disease is caused from how we live our life. Eating the wrong foods, ingesting too many medications and drugs, drinking too much alcohol, living sedentary lives, breathing in bad air from the workplace, and living a stressful lifestyle all contribute to poor health.

It is imperative that we become knowledgeable about nutrition and know which foods help to prevent disease and which foods bring disease on. An already sick, weak body will only become sicker and weaker if no steps are taken to heal the area of weakness. One area of weakness can make every organ begin to degenerate one at a time.

Disease spreads fast when you dont go to the root of the problem quickly. A weak area of the body that many people share in is the digestive system. This area takes the brunt of abuse from bad habits and will become weak if we live a lifestyle that is detrimental to health. The intestines are where we absorb our nutrients back into the blood. We need nutrients to sustain the body and continue to repair and build new cells.

Clean the Digestive Tract

There are several different products on the market that cleanse the colon, but the best cleanses are those that do something while working their way through the intestines. Colon pills are processed tablets that cant really do a reliable job. Some colon cleaners may do a quick cleaning but dont actually do a thorough cleaning, leaving waste residue still caked on the intestines. This is the most important aspect of cleaning the colon is getting the dried up wastes removed off the walls of the intestines so nutrients can pass through.

Im not selling any products but I do know that the whole husks of the psyllium plant work! I know this because I participate in the Psyllium Husk cleanse every couple of years. Whole psyllium husks are what you need for a thorough colon cleanse because the husks act like a broom on your intestines and scrub off any caked on fecal wastes.

The first time I ever did this cleanse it cured me of backache, boils, acne, sluggishness, constipation and more. None of my symptoms of toxic overload have returned because I take a maintenance dose of psyllium every single day! Plus I now know how to eat right. Eating right and making it a lifestyle is the key to maintaining good health.

Eat Your Greens!

Did you know there are powerful healing foods that can actually prevent cancer from coming on when eaten on a regular basis? So if thats true then why cant these same foods heal cancer? Well, they can. Kale, mustard greens, Swiss chard, beet greens, sunflower greens, and collards are all filled with the life-giving force of Chlorophyll.Cruciferous vegetables such as cabbage, broccoli and brussel sprouts are also excellent healing foods that should be eaten every day.

Another healing food is wheat grass. Wheat grass is loaded with curative properties that feed damaged cells and rejuvenate the body. Wheat grass, like dark leafy greens is a live food meaning they are still living when you put them into your mouth. This is what a person, who is ill, should be juicing and drinking regularly.

Dark greens, sprouts, juicing and eating organic raw fruits and vegetables daily are going to build up your bodys resistance so it can fight off disease. If you are ill with disease now you should be eating at least seven raw servings of different fruits and vegetables daily, along with other whole, natural food products. Juicing garlic, which is a natural antibiotic and anti-viral herb, would be a smart thing to eat as well. Garlic will protect your body from coming down with an infection and virus.

Remember that you cant just eat greens and cure yourself of disease. You need to take care of yourself in other ways also. You need to eat right, drink plenty of filtered water, get plenty of rest, and get outdoors more in the sunshine, and be content with what you have been blessed with. We have all been blessed with the certain things that we should not take for granted. You are your bodys best defense against disease, so treat it right.
